Consultations can include anything from helping you prepare for DIY garden work, finding solutions for specific problem areas, or envisioning the potential of your garden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can identify your existing plants, discuss light, water, and soil conditions, and establish plans for seasonal care. We can also choose areas where additional plants can be added to enhance your garden’s layout and biodiversity. The duration of each consultation is 90 minutes and is focused on your questions and projects. After the consultation, I can assist you by sourcing the plants that we’ve discussed, and even place and plant them with you in a side by side gardening session. Garden Consultations can take place in any season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rates: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

$150 for an hour and a half Garden Consultation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

$50\/hr for plant sourcing and delivery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow up consultations are billed at a discounted rate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Pacific Northwest landscape is shifting and it is crucial for us to plant responsibly. My designs acknowledge our changing environmental resources and the reality of climate change through thoughtful plant selection and placement. It does this while also enhancing your garden and creating a sense of place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After we have thoroughly discussed your garden and explored its current layout, I will write up a detailed proposal of the design process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designs are drawn by hand and are accompanied by a written narrative that walks you through your mature garden. All plants included within the design can be sourced locally at independent nurseries specializing in natives or regionally climate appropriate plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Garden Designs are priced based on square footage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having worked in Portland gardens since 2017, I have formed relationships with local nurseries, hardscape specialists, and irrigation companies. I can assist with project management to implement your garden design. If you prefer to DIY, I am available to source the plants for your new garden and assist with placement and soil amendment recommendations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the garden design has been realized I will continue to be available to assist with seasonal garden care and development. Gardens are not static and will continue to evolve. As the seasons and years pass, and as our climate and your own garden vision shifts, I will edit and update your garden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
